Okay, I know it's been a while, but Goodwood Revival just doesn't happen over night! At least now The Vintage Room can tell you all about the truly magical event that is Goodwood Revival! This time last week, the sun had come out. Men were dressed up in 1930's Raf uniform and overhead was the delightful Spitfires. 1940's Rolce-Royces. 1950'S Aston Martins. 1930's Warplanes. Men were spoilt for choice, and so were the ladies! Aquascrutum coats, Minx, Biba Ballgowns, 1950's Alligator handbags & soo much more! Ofcourse that could all be found in our Boutique!
The Glamorous event came with hard work. The weather, as you know, is not to be trusted! Having to bring our stock inside, when we only just had 10 minutes of sun, was something we could of lived without! Despite the short glimpse of bad weather, it was a truly chic delight of an experience! Even the Tesco's I adored! Where else could you buy Cadbury's chocolate in its original 1940's packaging!? Once again, Lord & Lady March have out done themselves, and I cannot stop mentioning the Spitfires! I am in love with them! I know, it's not the first time I've seen them, but this year was better than ever and had a great 1940's feel to it, bringing Vintage into the modern era, which is what The Vintage Room is all about!
The Great British Public and many tourists Dressed to Impress! Majority dressed head to toe in 1930's to 1950's gear, looking stunning! The guys were dressed in such a dapper way, that I'm sure even they, would fall in love with themselves. The ladies oozed sophistication! From the hosiery to minx wraps, they were exquisitely in place! It was a truly magical step back in time!

Since then, The Vintage Room has been working non-stop, and I mean non-stop! Getting stock to our container and our Boutiques in Nineveh House Arundel; re-stocking our Boutiques with Winter gear, plus hunting for more Vintage! No stopping for us! After all we want The Vintage Room customers to be happy! Talking of Winter, The Vintage Room is prepared for the Season to come! A main buy at Goodwood, was coats and winter accessories, and we have plenty to go around. We specialize in furs such as minx & fox. We have a large collection of coats, boots, gloves etc and menswear. Infact we keep having customers from both our Boutiques in Arundel and our traveling Boutiques at places such as Goodwood, that we have a very large, good quality stock of menswear.
